Fees

We cater to our clients under two very comprehensive service models. Jonathan is a financial advisor offering financial planning and investment advisory services through Eagle Strategie LLC, a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA).

Jonathan offers a variety of services as an investment adviser representatives (“IARs” or “Eagle IARs”). Eagle IARs are licensed or permitted by State securities law to provide investment advisory services and to sell investment products.

He is also a registered representative offering securities through NYLIFE Securities LLC, Member FINRA/SPIC,a licensence insurance Agency.

Eagle IARs are also insurance agents of New York Life and or another affiliated insurance companies.

Both our financial planning and investment management services are offered on a fee basis.

Our fee-based financial planning model allows you to choose the amount of service and financial advice you require. In essence, it is a user pay approach.

Our-commission based model is based on a single needs advice you request, Jonathan is compensated only on solutions implemented for you.

 

Fee-­based Financial Plans Through my affiliation with Eagle Strategies LLC, I am able to provide comprehensive financial plans and investment advisory account services. The fees associated with a financial plan and managed accounts vary and are calculated differently.

How We Are Paid

We feel that it is critical for our clients to understand what they are paying for and how they are paying for it. Our goal is to be as transparent as possible when discussing compensation for our advice, so that we can freely research, recommend and implement strategies without partiality or restrictions.

The fee for a financial plan is based on a number of factors, which are carefully considered, including:

  1. Financial Planning Services Provided
  2. Depth of Analysis
  3. Case Complexity
  4. Depth of Engagement
  5. Client Financial Circumstances
  6. Advisor Experience

At each stage of the process, all fees will be clearly outlined and agreed with you before we proceed.

After an analysis of your financial situation, the exact fee will be determined. My average fee range per plan is: $500 - $3500
The fee for any subsequent financial plan(s) may be the same, higher, or lower depending on whether there has been a change in circumstances.

We split our investment advice and associated portfolio management from fee- based financial advice. This allows us to target fees according to your particular and unique needs: investment and/or financial advice.

To see your dreams become a reality, it is important to begin with a sound, yet flexible financial plan. The plan must be specific to you, your goals, and begin with where you are today and put you on a path toward where you want to be tomorrow.

 

Fee-based Financial Advice

Our initial engagement meeting is complimentary. After that, it will depend on your unique circumstances and needs. Our typical fee ranges from:

This includes 3-6 meetings, ongoing review, annual comprehensive review, and anytime access for questions as they arise.

The cost of the planning will depend on its scope and complexity of your situation; some examples:
  • College Funding (minimum charge- 3 planning topics) $500
  • Retirement Planning $750-1125
  • Comprehensive Financial Plan $1875-2499
  • Hourly rate for advance planning or consulting $100
 
 

With assets under management of $250,000 or more, financial planning services are included in the investment management fee.

 
 
 

Investment Advisory Account Fees

The client fee for managed accounts is comprised of two factors – the sponsor fee and the advisor fee. The sponsor fee consists of the money manager fee (if applicable), the platform fee, the clearing and execution fee, and the administrative fee. The money manager and platform fee will vary depending on the program, manager, and/or strategy selected. The advisor fee is the fee I charge to provide comprehensive and independent advice as well as ongoing monitoring, support, and reviews of your advisory accounts. Factors including, but not limited to, complexity of investment options and strategies, size and number of accounts, and other considerations may influence the advisor fee and your total client fee. Fee Based Hourly Advice

Financial Planning and Advisor Fees reflect my typical fee for these services and are negotiable. Financial Planning Fees are typically collected in full at contract signing, though other arrangements may be available. The advisory fee is calculated and collected monthly.

 
 

For the Representative Directed Program, the advisor fee range shown is a breakpoint and reflects the assessed advisor fee for all assets as each threshold is crossed. For all other Advisory programs, there are two pricing options for the advisor fee range; It may be tiered, which reflects the assessed advisor fee for the portion of assets within the stated band, or it may be a breakpoint based on the proposed initial investment. This decision will be part of the discussion when establishing your account.

 
 

The Financial Planning Agreement and/or the Statement of Investment Selection (SIS), each of which you will sign if you engage in a Financial Plan or open an Eagle account, will reflect your specific fees. For Advisory accounts, please note that additional Money Manager, Platform, 12b-­1, and Expense Ratio fees may apply.
